South Downs Way - step out of our gate and into the South Downs national park. Starting in Lewes, experience the breath taking scenery whilst walking through to Pyecombe or Southease. From Seaford, follow the Southy Downs Way again to Pyecombe or further afield to Eastbourne.

Historic town of Lewes with its mixture of ancient Norman castle, Anne of Cleeves house/museum and modern shops.
The Cuckmere Haven with its winding river down to the sea, and the famous coastguard cottages.

Brighton with its historic Royal Pavillion, Pier,extensive shopping centre and unique shopping experience in the Lanes with its tiny winding streets offering exclusive, individual and unusual merchandise.
Eastbourne, with its beautiful floral saefront, Pier, pebble beaches and Fort Fun & Rockys amusement Park for the younger generation.

At the end of the drive there is a good bus service and a train station just five minutes drive away. The beautiful town and beaches of Seaford are on your doorstep, as is the Newhaven ferry service to France if you fancy a short trip abroad. Within a thirty minute drive you will find Lewes and Eastbourne in one direction, and Brighton and Hove in the other. All with historic places, and lots to see and do.
